This DigiDirect stocktake sale will save you hundreds on new photography gear – Digital Camera World

Aussie retailer DigiDirect has joined the end-of-financial-year sale season by offering up to 30% off (opens in new tab) on a wide range of photography gear, including on cameras, lenses and all kinds of accessories. You’ll find up to 25% off on SanDisk (opens in new tab) memory cards and CFexpress card readers, for example, or 30% off Hoya filters (opens in new tab) and Manfrotto tripods (opens in new tab).

If it’s a new camera or lens you’re after, there’s up to 20% off pretty much every major brand – Canon (opens in new tab), Sony (opens in new tab), Nikon (opens in new tab), Panasonic (opens in new tab), Fujifilm (opens in new tab), OM System (opens in new tab) (aka Olympus), plus Sigma (opens in new tab) and Tamron (opens in new tab) too.

Some of the standout offers from this sale are the Canon EOS R5 body for AU$5,359.20 (opens in new tab) (that’s a AU$1,339.80 saving) and the Nikon Z6 II for AU$2,219.20 (opens in new tab) (down from AU$3,649).

We don’t often see anything from Leica get a discount, but if you’ve got the spare change, then there’s up to 5% off on select models (opens in new tab) carrying the red dot. It includes the Leica Q2 (opens in new tab), M10 Monochrome (opens in new tab) and the Leica SL2 (opens in new tab).

If you’re after a camera bag to stow your gear, you can score a discount on Peak Design’s popular and rather good-looking version 2 of the Everyday Sling (opens in new tab) – unfortunately none of the backpacks are discounted. Instead, you can get up to 30% off Lowepro’s (opens in new tab) sturdy alternatives.

There are even mics from Rode (opens in new tab) with up to 20% off select models, external monitors from Atomos (opens in new tab) with up to AU$360 in savings and even studio lights from Godox (opens in new tab) (10% off).

There really is a lot to uncover in DigiDirect’s June stocktake sale, with practically any brand associated with photography getting some kind of discount. So head on over to the retailer’s online storefront (opens in new tab) and take a gander.

These aren’t the best prices that DigiDirect has offered this year – back in March, there was up to 40% off several cameras and lenses that saw prices slashed much further – but if you’re in need of a new kit for work, your savings will increase in the form of your tax returns. After all, anything being used for work purposes becomes tax deductible.
