An upstanding snapshot – Australian Jewish News

WHAT does it mean to be an upstander? Courage to Care is asking this of local photographers as part of their free photography competition taking place this month.

The contest is open until March 23 with the goal being to show off and highlight creative and technical skills and to capture an image that illustrates what it is to be an upstander.

This competition is open to Victorian students and residents of all ages across two divisions – a School Students Division and an Open Division.

Winners in the two categories will be announced at the Courage to Care 30th anniversary event in May, and there are generous prizes on offer.

Mike Zervos, CEO of Courage to Care, told The AJN, “As part of our 30th anniversary celebrations we are really excited to be inviting students and adults to show through their photography what it means to take positive action and be an upstander.”
