Senior Photographer Video Content Coordinator – Pedestrian TV

Who are we you ask?

HYPOP is a Sydney-based (Alexandria) online retailer of photography equipment. We offer complete lighting, video and studio solutions to a range of corporate, business, education, government and end user customers including social media influencers. We also have an in-house brand SPECTRUM which is catered for entry to mid-level users stocking photography lighting and back drops.
 

The job?

We are currently on the hunt for a talented Senior Full Time Content Coordinator to join our innovative, dynamic team. Someone who can deal with challenging situations, and is comfortable working in a young, fun small team which also includes our dog Kenji (Shiba Inu), as well as someone who first and foremost has a keen interest for the photography industry, our brand and our customers. You will work within the creative & marketing team, coordinating and producing amazing content across the HYPOP and SPECTRUM website, social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, Youtube) to build/spread the HYPOP and SPECTRUM brand message across to our target audience.
 

Responsibilities

  • I am a photographer
  • I have experience in videography (but not necessary)
  • I love organising shoots and post production
  • I enjoy product photography
  • I love working in a team and achieving goals
  • I will collaborate with other team members, like marketing, social media coordinator, the directors and customer service reps to ensure brand consistency
  • I am happy to manage online freelancers to edit videos and photos
  • I have excellent management skills and am super organised
  • I will stay up-to-date with current technologies and trends in social media, design tools, and applications
  • I will produce engaging content for brand’s social media pages, blogs, website and Youtube
  • I enjoy researching and keeping up to date with graphic design trends in my spare time
  • I am comfortable working with a dog in the office
  • I can do e-commerce imagery touch ups and edits, when required

Requirements

  • Proven technical experience operating production gear (cameras, lighting, audio equipment) and industry specific software (Premiere, After Effects)
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Analytical and multitasking skills
  • Able to work under pressure and adhere deadlines
  • Understands various social media platforms
  • Will challenge the status quo, not afraid to make innovative recommendations and suggestions
  • At least 2 years proven experience
